Terms of Service
Welcome to The Verified. These Terms are an agreement between you and Hainan 499 Symbiosis Technology Co., Ltd. concerning use of the The Verified mobile app and related website services. By using the service, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms.
1. Services
The Verified organizes and presents public news about technology, the digital economy, and related industries, and provides sharing, account profiles, free-event display and registration, free e-tickets, and on-site check-in. Features depend on the version actually made available.
2. Accounts and sign-in
You may sign in using an email verification code. At first sign-in, you must agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that the email address, nickname, bio, and avatar you provide do not infringe others' rights and do not contain unlawful, misleading, or impersonating content.
3. Events and free tickets
The Verified may display free events organized by us or partners. During an open registration period, you may select a free ticket type and provide registration information. Version 1 event ticketing does not involve paid tickets, payments, refunds, or transfers.
After successful registration, the system creates an e-ticket and QR code for check-in to that event. A ticket can be checked in only once. Keep the QR code secure; you bear the risk of use resulting from your own disclosure. Event time, location, organizer, and entry arrangements may change for operational, venue, or force-majeure reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in the app or through another appropriate channel.
4. Content sources and use
Information displayed by the product may come from public websites, institutional announcements, or other public sources. Rights in third-party content belong to the original author or rights holder. We make reasonable efforts to attribute sources, but do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or continued availability of third-party content.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to violate applicable law or others' rights; impersonate another person for registration, event attendance, avatar upload, or check-in; forge, alter, resell, or misuse e-tickets; disrupt check-in; interfere with the service through crawlers or automation; reverse engineer, bypass protections, or attack the app; or publish misleading information or conduct unauthorized commercial activity in the name of The Verified.
6. Sharing
When you choose system sharing or WeChat sharing, you must ensure that the sharing action and content comply with applicable law and the relevant platform rules. You may choose not to use sharing features.
7. Account deletion
You may start account deletion from the app profile page. Your profile will be removed or anonymized and the current session will end. Ticket records may be retained in de-identified form where necessary for event check-in, duplicate-entry prevention, and operational audit.
8. Intellectual property
The name, marks, interface design, software code, and proprietary content of The Verified are owned by us or the relevant rights holders. You may not copy, modify, or use them commercially without authorization.
9. Changes and interruptions
We may adjust, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service for product operations, technical maintenance, or legal-compliance reasons. For planned material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice.
10. Limitation of liability
You must independently evaluate information and bear the risk of decisions made in reliance on it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from third-party-content errors, network failures, force majeure, event-arrangement changes, or improper use by a user.
11. Minors
Minors should use the service with a guardian's guidance and consent.
12. Updates
We may update these Terms to reflect legal requirements or product changes. Updated Terms will be published on this page and apply from their stated effective date.
